Introduction to Pattern Drafting & Garment Making Portfolio (Week 13, 14)

Week 13

In week 13, I continued to finishing the skirt and the top of look 1. I added a few more details to the skirt such as metal gold zipper and belt loops. For the top I deconstructed the white shirt and cropped the top and added a few more details according to my technical design. I spent a lot of time on adjusting and ensure every details for both the garments to stand out and then I tried on my models. Fortunately, I made the garments fitted to my model body size so it save me a lot of times with fitting. After that I focus on the styling my finished looks by adding a few details such as black heels, sunglasses, belt, accessories like necklace, earrings to portray my concept femme fatale looks.

Moreover, I finalized myPowerPoint presentation slides for the final presentation which included  all the research information about the theme Essential fashion, and my concept " femme fatale", my concept inspiration writing, mood boards, initial sketches, and technical drawings. And then, I printed out the ppt slides and prepared to show them to Sir JR and MS Melina next week. And, then, I prepared my speech for the final presentation. I focused on presenting my concept inspiration and how I got the ideas for my designs.
