Week 9
In week 9, Sir JR help me with technical drawings for final two looks. We began drawing the technical sketches for my final two designs so that I can show them to Ms Melina for further assistance in creating patterns for the designs. He taught me how to draw and provided guidance. And then, Ms Melina help me adjust a few details on my designs to make my garment more practical and easy to sew for me. I am very grateful for her help and support in completing the pattens for both of my garments so that I can quickly move on to next step cutting pattern blocks and making garments for final project.

Week 10
In week 10, Ms. Melina helped me with patterns drawing for my final 2 looks. We spent a lot of time in creating the patterns to make sure every detail and proportion right. After completing the patterns, I traced them and make pattern blocks in order to cut the fabric before sewing. We also discuss what kind of fabrics should we use and suitable for the designs. After that Ms Melina also helped me bought the fabrics i want for my designs and we decided to use white cotton fabrics and black jeans fabric for my designs.

Week 11
In Week 11, I started working on my Look 2 design. I began by using the pattern blocks I had made, carefully cutting out the fabric pieces to ensure they were the exact measurements and shapes needed, including the required seam allowances. With Ms. Melina’s guidance and support, I started sewing the garment pieces together, tackling each section one by one. This process took a lot of effort, time, and patience, and it was definitely challenging for me as I keep making mistakes like cutting wrong fabric, sewing wrong sides or stitches become rough during sewing process. And, It also make me feel tired and anxious that I wouldn't be able to make it on time before week 14 my final presentation. However, Ms Melina patiently helped me out with the problems i have. This experience also taught me many valuable skills that are crucial for my future projects and career. Each step was a learning experience, and I felt that despite the difficulties, I was gaining essential skills and insights that would help me grow as a designer. By the end of week 11, I managed to finish the top of look 2.

Week 12
In Week 12, I focused on finishing the skirt for Look 2. I bought some clean, white shirts that complemented my fabrics, then deconstructed them and attached the pieces to the skirt using buttons, making the shirt removable. This added a unique styling element that was in line with my technical drawings. By the end of the week, I had completed about 90% of Look 2, which was a huge milestone.
I also began working on my next look by cutting out the fabrics for the skirt and started the process of making the black jean skirt for look 1, following the patterns and measurements precisely. Under Ms. Melina's guidance, I learned the importance of accuracy in cutting and how to ensure that each piece fits perfectly with the design specifications. This week was incredibly productive and educational, as I gained hands-on experience in garment construction and developed a better understanding of how to translate technical drawings into actual pieces.
